Leonardo Rangel-Castilla, MD Awarded PROSE Honorable Mention for Textbook, <i>Neuroendoscopic Surgery</i>

Leonardo Rangel-Castilla, MD, along with his co-authors Jamie Gerardo Torres-Corzo and Peter Nakaji, was recently recognized at the annual PROSE Awards on February 2, 2017. The PROSE Awards are given annually by the Association of American Publishers, and recognize the very best in professional and scholarly publishing by bringing attention to distinguished books, journals, and electronic content in 53 categories.

Dr. Rangel-Castilla's book, Neuroendoscopic Surgery, obtained an Honorable Mention in the Textbook/Clinical Medicine category. A full list of PROSE Award winners can be seen here.

The book, published on March 7, 2016, is described as 'a must-have resource for neurosurgery and neurology residents, neurosurgeons, pediatric neurosurgeons, and all physicians involved in the care of patients with intracranial and intraventricular disease.
