Steven Ham, DO, Named Schotanus Endowed Professor of Pediatric Neurosurgery
On October 1, 2015, Steven Ham, DO, was named the Peter Schotanus Endowed Professor for Pediatric Neurosurgery.
This endowed professorship was created through the generous gift of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Schotanus to Children's Hospital of Michigan in 1999. The Schotanus Professorship endowment is to support the activities of the Chief of Neurosurgery at Children's Hospital of Michigan, and to assist in reseach and education efforts in pediatric neurosurgery.
Dr. Ham has been with the Department of Neurosurgery since 2002 in a faculty role, but also completed his residency training at Wayne State University. He has also been the Chief of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Children's Hospital of Michigan since 2002.
