Residency Program Structure
The Department of Neurosurgery residency program at Wayne State University includes seven years of post-graduate training.

Every resident spends the last 12 months of training as Chief Resident. Each resident in the program currently completes from 48 to 50 months of clinical neurosurgery. The rotation order varies slightly for every resident.
