Originally from Arlington, Texas, Dr. Elswick completed his undergraduate education at Baylor University in 2006, graduating Cum Laude with a B.A. degree in Spanish. He was also a member of Phi Beta Kappa. After graduation, he attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston for medical school.
Dr. Elswick’s interests in Neurosurgery include Neurosurgical Oncology and the treatment of complex spinal disorders. His research interests include quality improvement and quality assessment of the delivery of healthcare including the use of the helicopter in transport of brain- and spine-injured patients.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He also enjoys watching movies, playing sports, fishing/hunting, and running.
